The Gill garden on NW 12th St in Ontario is a more traditional style garden, and on an acre and a half, one of the largest on the tour. Immaculate and beautifully maintained, with boxwood hedges, formal gardens, rose gardens, lovely fountains and statuary throughout. Formal paths lead from one section to the other and there is a lot to see here. There are several wonderful private sitting areas, including a secluded area with an outdoor fireplace, a wonderful garden house furnished with chairs and tables overlooking several parts of the garden depending on which side you are sitting on. and private patios and porches on each side of the home. In addition to the greenery and hardscape, they have made wonderful use of color with loads of perennials and annuals throughout. Because there was such a wealth of things to see in this garden, I'll show you half of the photos today and the other half tomorrow:
So this is just half of the photos of this fabulous garden. Stay tuned and I'll share the rest with you tomorrow. I sincerely thank the Gills for letting us view their labor of love and it was quite a treat, I can tell you that
